Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is an inflammatory skin disease characterized by neutrophil-rich nodules, abscesses or tunnels (sinus tracts). Tunnels, unique to HS, are deep dermal cavities lined with squamous epithelium that immunologically active, contributing pathology. The role of in driving ongoing poorly understood.
